Site Decisions

Important Booking Notes
  1. When contacting me to request a wedding ceremony date, no booking is confirmed until an actual time is specified and agreed upon between the Marriage Commissioner and the couple.
  2. If you require a rehearsal or a meeting with me, there is an additional fee of $150.
Punctuality is Essential
Couples should be aware of the fact that marriage commissioners often have weddings booked on the hour, one after the other; therefore, if wedding groups are late, there is often the possibility that their wedding time will have to be delayed until after other weddings have taken place. Consequently, punctuality is absolutely essential.
Arriving Fashionably Late? (Unacceptable Custom)
Over the years this rude expression seems to have been included into our daily lives as an acceptable practice for social events. To arrive late to a party, may be merely annoying to the hostess, but to arrive late for your own wedding ceremony or as the guest at a wedding ceremony, is completely improper.

To delay the start of the ceremony due to lateness from the bride/groom or any member of the wedding party, shows a complete lack of manners and taste. Lateness demonstrates a lack of respect for the ceremony itself, and also for your marriage commissioner and other individuals who are contributing their time.

As a guest, your late arrival and seating will become a distraction from the ceremony. If you have arrived late, sit at the back with as little disturbance as possible. Always plan to arrive at least 15 minutes earlier than the set time for ceremony.
